Yep, the touchpad/touchscreen is larger. Look at how close it comes to the circle that goes around the dpad and the one around the buttons. It also squared and raised in the top instead of curving over the top like the Dualshock 4 touchpad does.
Wherever it goes it needs to concentrate on cities with interactive interiors and areas to explore. Have them densely packed with lots of people, shops, and buildings. Wide open fields and cities with 2-3 streets that you can walk through in a minute are not fun anymore. Less huge map, more feature packed buildings and neighborhoods. Also, bring back the Intel gathering from AC1. Make us actually have to learn and figure out who the target is instead of a checklist of names to stab.

Expect more and more articles about how games are too long since China is placing time limits on how much a person can play a day. All the companies tripping over themselves to get a piece of that new market will do whatever their told and we'll get stuck with the results since they're too lazy/cheap to make two versions of a game. Watch how many journalists start calling for shorter games in the coming year.
I kinda wish they would use the style of one of the officially licensed PS4 controllers, the Hori Onyx. It was pretty comfortable to hold and use. It just didn't have a headphone jack, speaker, or light bar so it couldn't work with some games. I'm sure Sony could find a way to add them and keep the same design though.

That's fine unless you ever want to replay a game (say you stopped playing and erased both but a friend wants you to play with them later). With 100gb+ games a lot of people will hit their data limit with their isp quick. Plus managing storage space is a chore. Worrying about how many memory blocks you had on PS1 memory cards wasn't fun and neither will doing so with a small hard drive in PS5/Xbox Scarlett.
Is the transfer speed of usb as fast as an internal SSD?
The main problem is the right analog stick being directly below the face buttons on the right joycon. It makes moving the camera or aiming more difficult than it should be in handheld mode.

You're right, the reason Insomniac made Sunset Overdrive for Xbox is because MS allowed them to keep ownership of the IP. Now Sony can make it for PlayStation if they want.

Wow, a supposed leak about the PS5 on 4Chan earlier today mentioned home coming back and now this article pops up. Might be something to it.
There was a patent and leaked image of the dualshock 5 touchpad being replaced with a touch screen but people freaked out over it so it's probably not happening now. There was another rumor floating around that the dualshock 5 will be based on the Nacon Revolution design. There's no telling what we'll be getting.
I give it two years tops before devs expand the size of their games or the size of the in game worlds and negate any benefit of the SSD. They all want you playing their game longer (being engaged in it) so they make everything bigger and bigger like Ubisoft did with AC Odyssey.
Don't forget Ubisoft. They've gotten really scummy with loot crates this gen.
Gen Z (kids born after 1997, the millennials kids) are way worse. It's only going to go down the sensitivity slope from here until some group grows skin thicker than a wet piece of one plus toilet paper.
